The Law of Jealousy is Not Abortion Numbers 5:11-31

And when he hath made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her body shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.  And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.  Numbers 5:27-28 A very valuable question was brought to me regarding Numbers 5 this last week. It appears that some individuals have been using Numbers 5 as an apparent license to have abortions. This could not be further from the truth. The Scripture teaches otherwise. The form, or pattern of sound words, indicates that there is a law. This is not the Mosaic Law of Commandments which was nailed to the cross. (cf. Col 2:14). We are now under the law of Christ (cf. Gal. 6:2): the perfect law of liberty (cf. Jam. 1:25). We must never use the...
